Tony obtained a Higher National Diploma in Statistics from Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, and Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Shortly after Tony proceeded to acquire a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto.

He started his career as a mathematics teacher and was in that profession for more than 6 years. Subsequently, he developed an interest in research, monitoring and reporting and sought relevant skills and knowledge that helped him function as a Monitoring and Evaluation assistant for a few years. Tony is a result-driven individual with over 14 years of experience working with local, national, and international NGOs and institutions across diverse fields; teaching, Monitoring and Evaluations(M&E), agriculture and administration.
